Francis Mwaijande (PhD) is the Chairman of Tanzania Evaluation Association and a Senior Lecturer of Public Policy Analysis at Mzumbe University in Tanzania. He is a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Arkansas, U.S.A. He attained M.A. University of Wolverhampton, UK and B.A. Ed at University of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. His research interest areas include: Agriculture development and food security, Social development policy, poverty, program evaluation, governance and democratic reforms in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is engaged in national, regional and international research groups as a P.I for the Food Price Trend Analysis and Policy Options for Enhancing Food Security in Eastern Africa. He promotes National Evaluation Policy and culture for demand and use of evaluations for evidence-based policy decisions.
